Included in this sub-group are the Kleiner and Grossen Munsterlander, the Brittany, Picardie and French Spaniels, the Stabyhoun and the Drentse Partrijshond.
The German Longhaired Pointer is without doubt the most successful new addition to the UK HPR sub group. The breeds outstanding proven ability both in the field and in the ring has been recognised by a successful application for full breed status which commenced in 2006.
